We serve "Buffet Style" meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The dietary staff brings all the needed food and supplies to each of four main dining rooms for the meal service. The nursing, dietary, and activity aides assist the residents with their meals which consist of their choice of main entrees, soups, sides, and desserts. The residents enjoy being served their meals with the hot foods coming directly from the steam table and cold items just out of the refrigerators. Family members can also purchase a meal tray and dine with their loved ones. Special meals are provided for holidays, parties and special events. Some of these special events include: summer outdoor barbeques, 50's themed diner day, resident choice luncheons, and varied snacks during the many events that take place weekly. Making dining fun and enjoyable for the residents is one of our goals along with meeting therapeutic and nutritional needs. We also have two registered dieticians in-house who are educated and experienced in meeting the nutritional and dietary needs of our residents.
